USB-C to HDMI Cable
Product doesn't work
Cable >>Please kindly note that this USB-C to HDMI cable is compatible with any device (such as iPad Air 2020) with a video output enabled USB-C port (*DP Alt Mode), such as USB 3.1 Gen 2 (or up) devices, like USB 3.2. And please kindly notice that the USB-C to HDMI cable is UNI-DIRECTIONAL, which means it only converts the signal from your source device with USB-C Port to your monitor with HDMI. If the connector type of your video source device does not support video output, then it is NOT compatible with ALL the USB-C to HDMI cables on the market.
If your device supports video output, please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve your issue:
- Please try to use an insulated cotton pad to wipe the USB-C port of your device before connecting. Dust accumulation may lead to poor connection.
- Connect your video source device directly to your display. *Not via a dock/hub/KVM
- Switch to the correct HDMI channel manually.
- Try another HDMI port on your devices.
- Update the following firmware on your video source device:
- -Operation system
- -Graphics driver
- -BIOS/UEFI
6. Reboot your devices.

7. Reboot your devices.
*Please kindly note that To mirror Samsung phone, you may need to Turn Off the DeX first: Phone settings - "Connections" - "Device Connection" - Tap on the gear icon next to the "Samsung DeX" option - "Turn Off". (The desktop experience (DeX) is a standard feature, allowing you to use your phone as a desktop computer either via a PC or with a TV or monitor.)
Doesn't work with a dock
Please kindly note that this USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter is passive. Docking stations/hubs need to use an active cable/adapter to perform the conversion (as stated in the listing). This is the reason why the product does not work. Unfortunately, we do not sell an active USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter. Or you may please connect the devices without using a docking station, and the product will support you well.
Resolution/Refresh rate issues
- 4K 30HZ USB C to HDMI cable/adapter supports up to 4K@30Hz, backward compatible with 1440P@60hz, 1080P@120hz.
- 4K 60HZ USB C to HDMI cable supports up to 4K@60Hz,backward compatible with 1440p@144Hz,1080P@240Hz.

If the product does not work for you at proper resolution/refresh rate, please kindly try updating the Operating system on your video source device (Especially for Apple products users).
No sound
Using windows10>>Please kindly note that you should choose your monitor to output audio on your video source device.
- Click the Start icon at the bottom left of the screen, next click the Settings icon in the pop-up window.
- The Windows Settings dialog box will display, scroll down and click the System button.
- Another window of Setting appears, select Sound options in the left pane. Then go to the right pane, and choose your output device from the drop-down list (please refer to the image).
Using Mac OS>>Please make sure the audio is turned up on your MacBook to rule out the problem. Then please try to Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sound. In the Output pane, make sure your HDMI device is selected (please refer to the image).
Compatibility

HDCP compliant issues
This USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter is compliant with HDCP, enables you to stream protected content from video platforms like Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, etc. However, to display protected content successfully, your HDMI cable and monitor both need to be HDCP compliant as well.
Can it be used with a microscope camera/soundbar/oculus quest 2?
Please kindly note that this USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter is used for mirroring your video source on your display, thus it needs to be connected to a device (such as iPad Air 2020) with a video output enabled USB-C port (*DP Alt Mode), such as USB 3.1 Gen 2 (or up) devices, like USB 3. 2. Thus this USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter cannot be used with a microscope camera/soundbar/oculus quest 2.
Can I charge my Samsung S9 while using this cable?
We are sorry to tell you that this USB-C to HDMI cable is used for mirroring your video source on your display, thus it will not charge your phone when being used.
Overheat issues
Please kindly note that the shell of this cable/adapter is made of alu-alloy for better heat-dissipation and chip protection comparing with the plastic shell. So it is normal for it to become warm when being used.
If you think that the product becomes too hot, please don't worry and contact us with the result. We will provide help as soon as possible.
Screen flickering
Please allow the monitor to be completely powered off (*Unplug the power plug) for a few minutes and then turn it back on for connection. Since the monitor is not usually powered off, the HDMI interface of the monitor will generate static electricity accumulation, resulting in the problem of flickering screen.
DisplayPort to HDMI Cable

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve your issue:
- Plug the DisplayPort end into your video source (laptop/desktop) and the HDMI end into your display. *This cable is UNI-DIRECTIONAL from DisplayPort to HDMI.
- Connect your video source device directly to your display. *Not via a dock/hub/KVM
- Switch to the correct monitor HDMI channel manually.
- Try another DisplayPort/HDMI port on your devices.
- If you are using a discrete graphics card, please kindly connect the DisplayPort end to the DP port on your discrete graphics card of your computer.
- Update the following firmware on your video source devices:
- -Operation system
- -Graphics driver
- -BIOS/UEFI
